The Morning Market every Tuesday 10 a.m. till noon in the Kingston Reading Room. Buy second hand books; groceries; hand made greetings cards; home made bread; locally grown meat, eggs and home grown vegetables in season.
* Kingston Local History Society researches the history of the local area. Members pay an annual subscription of £3.00 single/ £5.00 couple which entitles them to free entry to meetings. Non members and guests are asked to pay £1.00 per meeting. Meetings are held from 8pm on Thursday evenings unless otherwise stated. St James the Less Parish Church, Kingston, open every day of the year from 9am until dusk. All Sunday services normally start at 9.30 am. See under 'Parish Church' for details including special services, which may start at other times.

The South Hams Mobile Library visits on a Friday every 2 weeks, outside the Kingston Fire station from 4 - 4.30pm.
